The Equilibrium Foundation supports via its community support scheme
Established in 2015 and announced quarterly, the Community Support Scheme delivers grants of up to £500 to not-for-profit organisations within three areas of the North West: Greater Manchester, Cheshire East and Cheshire West.
The three winners for the Q3 2021 are:
Live! Cheshire based in Chester, which supports people with disabilities. The charity provides a varied programme of fully inclusive and accessible clubs and social activities for children, young adults and adults.
East Cheshire Musical Theatre Company in Cheadle Hulme, which is a group of like-minded singers and actors who stage recreations of Broadway and other famous musical performances.
Prevent to Protect based in Salford, which provides vital support to young people in the city who may be affected by issues such as gang and knife crime, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues, or domestic abuse.
Debbie Jukes, Partner at Equilibrium and Trustee of the Equilibrium Foundation, said: “It is very humbling to read the stories of the incredible organisations we support through our Community Support Scheme. There are so many remarkable people who share our vision to make our communities better places to grow up and live in.
“The latest recipients are certainly in that category and we are delighted to support them with a funding award which we know will be put to good use.
“The Equilibrium Foundation has raised over £600,000 so far and we have a target of reaching £4million by 2028. We have various ways of achieving this but, most importantly, we need to identify the organisations which will benefit. For that reason, we’d encourage new applications here. We are here to help and look forward to receiving your applications.”
The deadline for the next round of entries is December 5th 2021.
